Samantha Douglas, APRN
My path to nursing began when I was a junior at McAlester High School. I attended CNA school and started working as a nurse’s assistant at a local nursing home. It was there that I discovered my passion for caring for others, which has guided me through a career in nursing for over 12 years. The majority of my career has been spent in geriatrics, post-acute home care, and addiction medicine.
I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and later graduated with high honors from South University with a Master of Science in Nursing, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have a special interest in women’s health and psychiatric care, and I’m proud to serve the community I’ve always called home.
I’m married to my husband, Brandon, and we’ve been together for over 10 years. He owns a local business here in McAlester, we’re raising our two children, Gracelinn and Brandon. Outside of the clinic, I love cheering on our kids at their sporting events, spending time with family and friends at the lake, and relaxing with our three beloved dogs—an English bulldog, a French bulldog, and an American bully.
