Chelsea Berges, DO
I grew up outside a small town in Iowa where my father was a Physician.
I attended Oklahoma Christian where I ran track and field, competing in the heptathlon. After two years, I switched to Iowa state and graduated with a Bachelors degree.
I attended and graduated from medical school at UNT health Sciences Center in Fort Worth Texas. I was a member of their Rural track geared towards additional training for those who wished to practice in rural areas. I ultimately ended up in McAlester after graduating the OSU Family Medicine Program.
Growing up in Iowa, I have always known I wanted to live in a small town and offer a wide spectrum of services for all ages because I love to see the whole family. I enjoy complex cases where I get to work out a puzzle as well as the day to day routine visits.
When I am not at work, I enjoy hunting, running and doing chores on our small acreage. We have guineas, chickens, and several Texas Longhorns.
